Scrap it with a song week 22

This layout is for the challenge at scrap it with a song. The song is Upside Down by Jack Johnson which that song is in the movie Curious George....I love that monkey! So if you go to the blog you can hear the song and it also has the lyrics. From there you can use any of the lyrics for your layout. I enjoyed this one also because I had a beautiful day as you can see, all my kids bring tears to my eyes and its because of them that I have so much love. For the letters I used the cart Plantin(but not the LOVE letters, those I bought) and a lot of bling. Well hope you enjoy!! Thanks for stopping by!

Button up for school challenge

This project I made was for the fantabulous cricut challenge. This took me a while because I had a lot of cutting and layering, which I really enjoyed. The cart I used was locker talk and scraps for everything else. I added buttons too. This is a tin that I got at Walmart for $1 at the checkout. When I saw this tin I knew I wanted to make a mini. The accordion is made from envelopes so I have some pockets like for the hall pass, and the part of the hop scotch. The two books have room in the back for journaling and so do the two crayons. Hope you like it and now to show my 5yr old Marilynn J. her mini I made thinking of her. If you notice the digi stamp in the back is from Meljens and I think it looks like her. There are a lot of pictures but I didn't want you to miss anything...hehe! Thanks for looking.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #41

I made this card for the Cricut Cardz Challenge and I enjoyed it so much because I used some glitter. The challenge is to make a fall card but cannot use the colors brown, yellow,or orange. I was on a stump for a little but remember seeing white pumpkins and then threw some glitter on it. My colors are green, white, red and black. I used Speaking of fall for everything, I really haven't used this cart much so that was nice. Hope you enjoy it! I just noticed that my red looks orange but really it's red.

Jitterbuggin Sketch 17

I made this for the Jitterbuggin challenge this week it called "Going Old School". So I used Locker talk for the backpack and layers, and I also used the colors blue, yellow and red which was one of the requirements and the sentiment was from a stampology. The stamp was part of a blog candy I won! It had a lot of great goodies!

Scrap it with a song week 21

There is a challenge at
http://scrapitwithasong.blogspot.com/ which I think is soo awesome! So this week is the song from the Tarzan movie "You'll be in my Heart" by Phil Collins. This song is so touching and I Toad-ally love this movie too. So I put part of the lyric inside the heart and my picture is how my oldest is holding one of our little ones. Hope you like this LO as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Jitterbuggin Sketch 16

For this Jitterbuggin challenge I made this card using doddlecharms for the apple. I used some cute sentiments I had for awhile. I did the apple because it reminds me of back to school which I am so excited since my 5 year old brings me so many cute things from school she made and I am just so proud of how well she is doing. Hope you like it and the folded paper frame is something you can find at
http://jitterbugginchallenge.blogspot.com/ which she has a great tutorial!
